【 Philosophy】

Core value
OTR is a leader in bringing education and opportunity for children living in poverty. We believe that everyone, regardless of their background, has the potential to make the world a better place. Therefore, we want to provide better opportunities for those in need.
Vision
OTR aims to help children escape the cycle of poverty through various educational programs, and hopes to supports their dreams. Furthermore, we believe that we all have the responsibility to resolve the various factors that threaten children’s well-being.

【India Education Support Project】

Our core and sustainable project, “Mother Baby School (India-Varanasi)”, was developed in 2008 as means to provide education for free. Partnered with a local alumni tutor, students spend Monday to Saturday learning how to read and write in Hindi/English alongside various subjects.
This program aimed at promoting basic education and addressed the lack of literacy in the area. Currently, 50 students are active in this school and over 500 students have graduated thus far.

Additionally, we focus on harnessing essential social skills and broadening their perspective. We have various workshops—dance, yoga, cooking—facilitated by a professional. Over 3,600 volunteers worldwide have participated in this program.

【India NEW Project】

OTR strives to provide financial support and undertakes coaching school to those particularly from a lower socioeconomic background. We help increase their employability by both teaching practical skills and providing employment assistance, ultimately hoping to decrease the poverty gap in India. Through this new project, we ensure youth grads can pave the way towards their dream career; thus, opening the door towards a brighter future to not just survive, but thrive.

We are looking for volunteers to participate in this project! In addition, any donations will be greatly appreciated and directly used for this cause.
